Narrative for the Equinox

Daily Shoot 307: When I get bigger

Daddy says that winter is ending. It is warm. The cold has receded,
and the world’s black is turned to green.
It has gotten warmer. I play outside, and escape the sun in the shade
of the trees. Daddy buys me an Ice Cream.
The green of the trees die as they turn orange, brown and yellow.
Daddy says Fall is coming.
The snow outside piles up, and big brother doesn’t want to play.

Narrative by Gretchen Houser, Brian Berglund, Christopher Vernet, and Lindsay Walker.
